Designing a One Stop that transforms the Student Experience

Serving a diverse student population with diverse needs creates challenges for community colleges seeking to improve the student enrollment experience. Ivy Tech Community College decided one stop could transform the enrollment experience. Less than two years after research on one stop began, implementation had launched on 14 campuses across Indiana through beta-testing and improvements along the way. For many locations, this transformation included campus renovation for the student affairs areas. Named “Express Enrollment Centers”, this project also established a framework for making the transition from applicant to enrolled student able to happen in one day via Express Enrollment Days.
