“When the Indiana State Fairgrounds were constructed in the late 1890s, they were built for fairgoers to bring their animals by train, and they didn’t have to worry about 55-foot trailers,” Hoye said. “To solve this challenge, Schmidt Associates designed a premiere, state-of-the-art facility that will open for livestock and serve as a multi-purpose building to host large events throughout the year.”
