Today’s HVAC systems have the technology to do amazing things. They make a building comfortable, safe, and energy efficient. To get the most out of your systems, they must be tuned to stay in sync with the activities of the occupants and monitored to ensure proper operation.
This ongoing adjusting of HVAC and other systems is what we call “building optimization.” The long-term objective is to maintain peak building performance and avoid any fluctuation in operational excellence.
Building optimization is a post-construction service that includes:
Optimization provides:
Our energy engineering team employs optimization strategies that save both resources and dollars, while ensuring occupant comfort.
The proof is in the results.
The ENERGY STAR Scorecards below show the energy performance of a large Indiana high school. Before our team provided energy optimization services, the building scored a 67 out of 100 on the Energy Star performance scale. Two years later, after optimization had begun, the ENERGY STAR score improved to 82. This also equated to more than $84,000 in initial savings for the two-year period, with continued savings each year since optimization began.
