Mary Ellen is a highly skilled architect who specializes in designing exceptional spaces for educators and administrators to inspire and teach children. Starting as an intern at Schmidt Associates, she now serves as a project architect in the K-12 studio. With more than 30 years of experience, Mary Ellen recognizes and appreciates the enthusiasm and energy that educators bring to their classrooms. She is committed to creating environments where everyone involved in the process feels valued and empowered to contribute their input. She enjoys translating client’s visions into a reality.

Outside of Work
Mary Ellen looks forward to spring each year, when she plays in the Indy Women’s Golf League and tries to improve her handicap. She also enjoys cheering on her 16 nieces and nephews in their various sports and activities.
