Originally from Honduras, Josh is a bilingual architect who brings a thoughtful, user-centered approach to healthcare design. With a bachelor’s in architecture, a master’s in urban design, and a lifelong fascination with how people experience space, Josh focuses on creating environments that prioritize clarity, flow, and patient well-being. He believes successful healthcare architecture should feel intuitive—guiding patients naturally without relying solely on signage. Josh approaches each project with empathy, technical rigor, and a commitment to elevating the user experience through materiality and thoughtful planning. Known for his organization, follow-through, and personality, he consistently delivers both process and product with care.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, Josh finds balance through early morning workouts and lap swimming, which he considers both energizing and therapeutic. A passionate home cook who taught himself to cook during grad school, he spends Sundays meal prepping and planning his next adventure with his spouse.
