Daniel’s approach to architecture is rooted in his background as a visual artist. Before pursuing architecture, he spent years drawing and painting, earning multiple Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and deepening his understanding of composition, color, and visual storytelling. That foundation naturally drew him toward the built environment, where those same instincts apply at a larger scale. Today, Daniel brings a distinctive artistic sensibility to his design work, with a particular strength in graphic communication and visual clarity. He sees architecture as a continuation of his original creative pursuits, a discipline where ideas become tangible, expressive, and purposeful.

Outside of Work
Daniel comes from an artistic family. His father is an electric bass player who has bounced around Indianapolis playing with the Carl Story Band, Henry Lee Summer, and Brenda Williams, to name a few. Daniel and his oldest brother also play piano and like making and mixing music with their MIDI keyboards.
