Between excelling in math, science, and reasoning, and with inspiration from his grandfather who was a superintendent on a construction site, Thomas realized he wanted to pursue mechanical engineering. With degrees in physics and mechanical engineering, he believes that every day is another chance to be better than yesterday. Between projects at Schmidt Associates, Thomas gives back to his profession through the development of a review program for younger colleagues working toward becoming professional engineers.
Outside of Work
Thomas enjoys playing video games and cheering on the Indy Eleven, Butler Bulldogs, and Indiana Pacers. During his high school days at Warren Central, Thomas was a first chair viola player, and he was once on the WTHR Brain Game.
