With a heart for community and social issues and an eye for design, Alexis brings a unique perspective to each project. Living with the motto of “challenge accepted,” she approaches life with a hands-on attitude and uses that drive to help her projects succeed. When beginning each project, her inner artist visualizes the space, colors, and textures, while her analytical side ultimately brings that vision to a build-able design.
Outside of Work
Alexis is a devoted mother and artist in her free time. She also has goals of traveling through Latin America and becoming bilingual, inspired from her architectural thesis on the revitalization of the sprawl of the slums in Colombia.
