Schmidt Associates modernized WFYI’s outdated offices to help with employee recruitment and retention. Working through a three-phase process to enable the building to be occupied throughout construction, the project began with early collaboration with the furniture vendor to create a cohesive design aesthetic for the first phase that would increase efficiency throughout phases 2 and 3.
Collaboration areas, first- and second-floor offices, and office suites were all impacted. Ultimately, the 3-phase project resulted in new finishes, an office organization that promoted natural light throughout, and increased collaboration areas.
