The Tipton Community School Corporation was overdue for a comprehensive modernization project to address much-needed upgrades and renovations across its single K-12 building. These efforts, divided into five distinct projects—Tipton Elementary School, Tipton Middle School, Tipton High School Projects 1 and 2, and Outdoor Facility Improvements—were designed to modernize aesthetics, address aging infrastructure, and modernize spaces to meet the evolving needs of students and staff. With a budget of $23 million divided equally among the five projects, this undertaking focused on creating functional, inviting, and accessible environments while maintaining separate scopes for each project.
This once-in-a-generation project brings Tipton Community School Corporation into the 21st century with modern, right-sized spaces designed for today’s educational and community needs. The improvements have elevated both the form and function of the facilities, reinforcing Tipton’s commitment to its students and the broader community.
