To enhance the overall usage of the Marian University Library, Schmidt Associates consolidated underutilized racks and shelving on the first floor and redesigned the space as “The Exchange.” This interactive workspace offers potential employers and students with an area to meet. Designed with glass walls for visibility, the technology-rich, flexible environment provides a collaborative work environment and enhances the experience of the library. The Exchange offers the primary space for students to connect to employment opportunities while in school and to match with full employment upon graduation.
