This building addition to Louisville Hospital East has eight floors, and one floor is used for outpatient surgery, with eight operating rooms and associated support space. It has 144 private rooms on six floors. A two-level healing garden with pathways covers about 10,000 SF on the ground level and 1,500 SF on a second floor. The third floor serves oncology patients. Care for medical and surgical patients, stroke and neurological surgery patients, and women is provided on other floors. The top two floors are for total joint replacement patients, who can take advantage of an on-site physical therapy gym. A new parking garage with 472 spaces was also provided.
