The renovation of Ernie Pyle Hall breathes new life into this historic gem. Previously home to the School of Journalism, this facility now houses the Admissions Office and Welcome Center for the university, with classrooms featuring huddle stations for students to gather and share video content. Exterior restoration, extensive interior renovations, and replacement of all systems bring this facility into the modern day and make it sustainable for many years to come. Because the original interior space had little historic identity for preservation, a new interior palette complements the Indiana limestone and timeless finishes found throughout campus. Technology and furnishings were designed simultaneously to assure the functions of the classrooms, meeting rooms, and large gathering spaces are flexible and adaptable into the future.
