Barnes & Thornburg wanted to add to their client experience by creating an attached conference center. The new conference center occupies what was once a large storage room that was transformed into a high-functioning conference space for the entire firm. The space draws some of its detailing from the historic lobby space with modernized historic elements. Twelve new conference rooms allow for meetings to be held in one centralized area, adding to the flow of clients in and out of the building. Many of the conference rooms boast electrified glass walls that go from clear to opaque at the touch of a button, allowing for privacy or openness, depending on the needs. A large, pre-function space doubles as an art gallery, hosting an annual charity art auction with local student work.
