The Great Indy Neighborhoods Initiative’s “Quality of Life Plan” was adopted by the Indianapolis Super Bowl Legacy Committee and identified Clifford Corners as a new space to revitalize the 10th Street corridor. As part of the plan, the site was designed to cater to the needs of low- to moderate-income students and artists. The resulting structure re-imagined the surrounding neighborhood, offering a three-level, mixed use space that creates 32 affordable one- and two-bedroom apartments, and four affordable two-bedroom condos. Working collaboratively within the confines of the community, Schmidt Associates delivered a comfortable environment for the residents that is complementary to the historic aesthetic of the street.
