The renovation of the Highlander Point Clinic has enabled a family practice within the system to expand accordingly. This project was completed as a multi-phase project, with the clinic remaining in use through the duration. The project began with the renovation of half of the second floor of the existing building for clinical use followed closely by the renovation of existing clinic space in the southeast portion of the third floor the building—creating new exam rooms and staff support areas. The next phase completed the renovation of the third floor, including a waiting room, nurses’ station, and offices. The project wrapped up with the renovation of an existing waiting room into conference space. In the end, this expanded family practice has helped the health system continue to see and meet the needs of the communities it serves.
