Dr. Robison spent more than four decades in Indiana public schools, including 19 years as a superintendent at Sheridan and Zionsville Community Schools. He has been a teacher, principal, and district financial officer, which means he has sat on the accountable side of nearly every decision a school community makes: what to build, what it costs, and how to explain both to a board and to taxpayers. He has worked across the funding spectrum in small, rural communities with declining enrollment, urban school districts with high assessed valuation, and medium-sized districts with both rapid growth and lowest state funding. Scott and his teams passed five ballot questions between 2011 and 2019.

At Schmidt Associates, Scott is a colleague school leaders can call. He works alongside superintendents, boards, and our design teams, translating among them and keeping the conversation on what a building is actually for, which is giving students a place to grow.

Outside of Work
Scott is dad to three adult children and husband to Mary, a fifth-grade teacher in Westfield. He begins each day by playing piano for the family dog, Georgia, a German Shepherd.
