Steve Alspaugh

Steve Alspaugh knew from an early age exactly what he wanted to do: design imaginative and innovative spaces for people to live, learn and work. So during school he spent time in construction and in the family contracting business, building a fundamental knowledge of how things work. Today, he brings that knowledge and that timeless passion for the creative process to his project owners, as Design Architect for Schmidt Associates. It’s the design process of discovery and team collaboration that still ignites his creative passion, but Steve loves that he “gets to draw and color almost every day.”

Outside of work
Before being called up to “The Show,” Steve announced and scored little league games. He also had his own “by line” as he served as the sportswriter of the game articles for his hometown newspaper as a kid.
