Project Overview
Designed to re-think an under-performing and underutilized site, this +/- 8,000,000 sq. ft. urban planning project utilizes the existing raised railroad and city grid to create a multi-level corporate campus. The raised streetscape connects the campus to the city and removes the visual barrier to the near south side of Indianapolis by incorporating the railroad bridges and tracks into the redevelopment.
Key to the successful realization of the project is the “twisting” tower—accommodating up to 1,000,000 sq. ft. of office space and adding an iconic building to the skyline. The “front porch” entry through the tower—including public performance and viewing steps—adds an urban park to the city, connecting directly to the Cultural Trail. While the upper floors are primarily private office space, the first floors open onto the grid and include retail, restaurant, and services, creating a new vibrant downtown district.
