Project Overview
The athletic stadium projects at both Lawrence Central and Lawrence North High Schools are intended to bring equity in regards to facilities and community spirit at both campuses. At both schools, there is a new end zone building with locker rooms, training room, shared office spaces, support spaces, and a hospitality/team room. The original home side bleachers were replaced with new handicapped accessible bleachers and press box, public restroom, and concessions added and renovated. The stadiums have new entry points for clearer and safer home and visitor circulation with enhanced lighting. In addition to improvements for athletics and PE, the design at both sites includes carefully placed fencing and gates for band performances and practice.
