Jim Walde

Before coming to Schmidt Associates, Jim Walde gained experience by working on a set of highly technical projects which helped him develop his skills as a detail-oriented engineer. He was even able to help design two elephant pools and penguin cooling systems for zoos! Jim brings more than 40 years of experience to our team. He tackles challenges for our Owners head on, digging in and finding new routes to solutions. Hearing a satisfied client say, “I didn’t know we could get there,” makes all of his hard work worth it.

Outside of work
Jim is kept busy with his 12 grandchildren.
