Craig Flandermeyer

Craig Flandermeyer serves Schmidt Associate clients as Sustainable Design Advocate, combining his love of nature and expertise in landscape architecture to ensure sustainability in each project. Craig’s input challenges conventional designs to meet a higher standard of working with their surroundings, often heard reciting things like “Don’t beat nature into submission; work with it.” As a result, he works with project owners to champion sustainable integrations that mean better biodiversity and fewer maintenance inputs for owners.

Outside of work

Designing sustainable landscape architecture solutions in Indiana means that Craig can enjoy the outdoors by maintaining his native plant garden and going fishing. Great design that is people and planet friendly!
