With growing enrollment in the Byrum School of Business, Marian University needed a facility that supported the school’s unique, experiential approach to learning. With a goal to create a space to represent the changing work styles and mobile technology of business today, they were looking for a design with trendy breakout areas, glass walls, and open floor space. With a proven ability to facilitate this approach to learning through spatial design, Schmidt Associates designed the Clark H. Byrum School of Business to represent the changing work styles of the new millennium. The innovative and adaptable learning spaces were conceptualized to be configurable for presentations, creative brainstorming, or casual gatherings to support Marian University’s unique hands-on curriculum.
