During middle school, Cheryl Wendholt, AIA took a drafting class, which showcased architecture as a blend of creativity and math. This combination of two of her strengths, set her on a design career path.
With hard-work and dedication, Cheryl completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Ball State University.
Today, she has found her place at Schmidt Associates among fellow life-long learners. Together with her co-workers, she’s dedicated to growing and refining her skills, knowing that it contributes to organizational success. She loves Microsoft Excel, organization, and encouraging others along their career path. Cheryl enjoys seeing finished designs come to life for Owners and she feels a sense of pride and accomplishment when what is asked of her gets done.
Outside of work
Cheryl enjoys being a mother of two, running, traveling, reading, and home renovation projects. She is a leader for her daughter’s Daisy Girl Scout troop and is herself a G.S. Gold Award recipient.
