Project Overview
The University of Louisville/Jewish Hospital Cardiovascular Innovation Institute is a new facility programmed and designed to accommodate Cardiovascular Research in a collaborative bio-medical and bio-engineering environment. The University of Louisville and Jewish Hospital are partners in this project and share space within this facility. This new building is an in-fill land connection between two buildings.
The focus of the Institute is involved with aspects of Cardiovascular Research and the development of new implant devices. This involves BioEngineering disciplines related to Pediatrics, BioMEMS, BioDevices and BioMaterials. A complete Animal-Surgical Research facility is also housed at the Basement Level to support the Institute.
