Project Overview
Ben Davis University High School is a small, highly-focused, early college and high school learning environment. It frequently serves first generation college students seeking to earn a Core 40 high school diploma, while also earning college credits towards an Associate Degree from Vincennes University. The facility also contains a 600-student preschool and daycare, servicing the early childhood needs of Wayne Township. Needing to distinguish the two functions from both an image and security standpoint, Schmidt Associates successfully renovated the preschool/daycare separate from the university in 2006, providing better security and a more adaptive environment.
