Project Overview
We planned the campus and have been the architect for all Baptist East Healthcare buildings since its inception. The most recent renovation is a phased renovation of the existing facility designed in 1968. All project phases were adjacent to or involved with existing occupied portions of the hospital. All hospital functions were to remain in operation during all construction phases. The scope of work included temporary relocation of departments during construction. Construction included a new Outpatient Surgery and recovery area, a new administration area, a new hospital entry and image of arrival, expansion of the existing emergency department, and total renovation of the dining facilities.
